Frequently Asked Questions

Why am I looking at old Images when new ones should be displaying?

Images on the IPS website are constantly changing. When you are looking at an image and it appears to be an old one, chances are it is being loaded from your browsers cache.

If you hold down the "Shift" Key and click the Reload (Netscape) button or Refresh (IE) button it will retrieve the page with the latest images.

How do I ensure the pages viewed are always the latest when using Netscape Navigator?

Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Edit menu and click Preferences.
  2. Under the Advanced category, click Cache. (If no options are visible in this category, click the + to expand the list)
  3. Select the option "Every time I view the Page"

Note: This will ensure the page you see is always the latest, at a cost of slower performance. This will also be the default setting each time you visit any other websites until you change it again.

For more information on this please refer the Help section within Netscape.
