aurora 17/03/2012 Kingston Tas

hey guys

observed an aurora from about 8.40 last night at Kingston, went to the beach and watched for about 30 minutes, seemed to be greenish broad light in the far south, but main activity appeared to be more south easterly and almost directly overhead. Rapid waves of curtain-like lights running across the sky from easterly to south west

 

if you need to have observations in a particular format let me know and I will record as you require
