I watched lights playing across the southern sky starting about 9:00pm tonight. There wasn’t much colour but the lights seemed to move in a sort of curtain from east to west. It’s stopped now but the southern sky is still very bright on the horizon. I’m at Tinderbox in southern Tasmania about 25 kilometres south of Hobart. There’s no moon. The sky is clear and Milky Way is bright but there are passing banks of cloud from time to time. Has anyone else seen anything? Robert A Brown |
