Aurora Sighting at Casey, Antarctica (66 deg, 17 S 110 deg 32.0 E) 04_04_2005

Massive curtains of green with red tips extending across the sky. Periods where numerous 'sections' were active together forming almost 360 degrees of light across the sky. 'Sections' seem to ripple independently.

First sighted at UTC 1230 starting at a low intensity, increasing to high intensity at around UTC 1530.
