A cracker

Bright aurora seen in Dunedin. Noticed it shortly after twilight (9:30pm)
and was all go by 10:30pm. Very bright - easily observed even in
streetlights and despite abundant cloud. Sky coverage was nearly 90
degree each side of South and covering more than 120 degrees
declination from horizon.

Fireworks was still going strong at 11:30pm. By 1am it had subsided to
strong blue glow to south.---------------------------------------------------
