Two Aurora sighting
Sunday 25th July 2004 at 2:30PM UT. West Hobart. Dull whitish green Aurora in the south to about 20deg above horizon. No waves searchlights etc. Was clear night, and stars seen through the aurora.
Tuesday 27th July 9:30AM - 12:30PM UT West Hobart and Mt Wellington.
9:30AM had about 10 clean green searchlights in the southern sky to about 50 deg. At 12:30PM, had curtain waves, with at one stage a curtain in the SW, with all red along the bottom, and green on the top - about 4-5deg high. Then in the SE, like flares like a flame in a fire and whitish/green to about 60-70 deg.
