Aurora sighting

There is a green curtain aurora hanging in the northeastern sky Tuesday
night in Seattle, Washington (approx. 47 degrees North latitude), just after
local midnight (0815 UTC on 29 October, to be precise). Most unusual to see
it from the balcony of my flat, as I'm in an urban area with a lot of light
pollution from the University of Washington, across the water.
