aurora reports

Hi ... we saw the northern lights:
Aug. 17, 2003: very light, long multiple bands across the sky, about 1 to 2 
am ... strongest at about 1:30 ... some lower edge flares, otherwise soft 
clouds look.

August 18, 2003:  12 midnight ... again at about 1 am.  similar to Aug 17's 
lights ... stronger lower edge flares.  no colors cept soft greyed blues and 
blue greens.

Aug 19 2003:  some lights at l:30, off and on again through 3 am.  very 
light.  no colors.
